Second Newfoundland Deviation Contest

We are currently running our second contest on the ~newfoundland deviantART group. These are the submissions as they come in from the members. Images and text used with permission of the copyright holders (as per the instructions for the contest. Heres the blurb about the idea behind the contest:

All right, this is a member suggested contest idea, what we are going to be looking for is a matched set of Avatar, deviantID and website button. Sizes (typical deviantART) are 88x31 pixels for the website button, 50x50 pixels for the Avatar, and maybe around 350px width for the deviantID.

The contest is open now until end of day on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, and all members of the ~newfoundland group are encouraged to enter.

How To Enter:

Send a Note to ~newfoundland telling us the deviation you are entering. Include a link to the deviation to make it totally clear what you are entering.

Prizes:

There will be one prize awarded, a 3 month subscription. The winner can decide what they want to do with the prize, and can give the subscriptions to another deviant if they are so inclined.

Also, the winners images will be used for identifying the ~newfoundland group.

Next Contest:

We are looking for ideas for our next contest, so if you have a good idea please send it in. Not necessarily will there be prizes, but fun and admiration anyway. Who know what the winds of fortune may bring...

"Newfoundland" by ~colony26	This is for the ID contest at the newfoundland group [link] I whipped this up rather quick, I didnt bother to get permission from other people for images, so I went ahead and used one of my own... Im sure someone can come up with something better... but whatever, I tried

"Newfoundland Graphics Contest" by ~anarchy-child	Submitted for the new NL contest... deviant avatar, button, and ID..

"Newfoundland ID Contest" by ~Linkashta	Ok, I did this several times over, and I didn’t like the ones before it. This could still be better, and if my scanner worked right and didn’t scan things in red and purple, you would be seeing a normal picture and not a painting. The painting is mine. And I don’t have the right program for making buttons or avatar’s or good id’s, but oh well, I try. I know I’v already lost this one, but this is what you get when you add me + boredom + artist block + a lot of free time. Though it’s about having fun while doing it, and not is you win or lose, even with the frustration of scanners that tick you off and the lack of proper programs for doing such things. It’s all about fun.

"Newfoundland Club Contest" by ~slipfits138666	ugh, the product of 1:30 in the morning, lack of sleep, and a very weird feeling. not my best work, but yea, i deffinetly not get the time to do more, so yeah, this is it. enjoy.
